>I have an old application written in FoxPro Windows 2.6a running at about 30 sites. A very few users are getting Internal Consistency Errors after printing and before the program can mark the records as having been reported. They are all using Hewlett Packard Office Jets ( 1170C, 9xx, D155). Mostly using Windows 98.

Because this is FoxPro 2.6, I don't think I can use the Microsoft alternative _fpreset() from msvcrt20.dll [unless there is a way to use this from FP 2.6???]

Try using an MS-supplied compatible inkjet printer driver - even if it's "old" and the output isn't as sharp or pretty as it could be. That will at least tell you if it's an HP printer driver bug issue.
