Perhaps sometimes the people in the countries whose sweat labour is exploited to benefit a few local mandarins and those of us in the first world who are pleased to pay cheap for shoes, clothes and electronic gear... perhaps, just perhaps, some of those exploited people feel a bit resentful to have their miserable lives described as "Aid".

I don't know what kind of TV shows the average folk in US watch, but some time ago I watched a TV show presented by Michael Moore (http://www.michaelmoore.com/) where he addresses the hyprocrisy of US government talking about human rights, democracy, freedom etc etc etc and what US companies do elsewhere in the world. Some call it "slave work".

Folks in US should also watch foreign TV channels (like DW TV and BBC), thus learning what other people say about what is going on the world, and not just watching US government "censored" news (ok, it is not really "censored", they just show what "people should know"! how kind they are <g>).

Sadam Hussein is not alone, fellows. He his just deserving more publicity than others <s>
