I need to retrieve data from a mainframe via OBDC using VFP7,
I can get a connection, but I need to know the name of the tables that
are available to me, like the way Excel does it when you select
"New Database Query" from the option menu "Get External Data" it shows you a list with the name of the tables, or like in SQL, something like
lnRtn = SQLEXEC(lnHandle,"EXEC sp_tables"), is there a generic command for ODBC that lets you accomplish the same?, How does Excel do it?
