>Thanks heaps... the _screen locking did some of it... and the positioning did the rest... but - this has not affected the bounce when I close the form.... specific toolbars are released - and as they do so, the menu toolbar area expands one line, pushed the form down, releases the toolbar, resets size -1 line (which moves the form back up), and then the form releases. I have tried putting in the lockscreen here as well, but it still bounces. Any suggestions?

At the start of your release code hide the form so that its not visible too bounce.
