I am converting sections of code into COM objects so we can use our code on the web as well as locally - hence e.g. "DEFINE CLASS MYCLASS AS session OLEPUBLIC" followed by my defined methods. When methods are called in e.g. MYCLASS from the local database prg e.g. MYCLASS.CHECKXYZ(), any previously opened DBF files seem to have been closed. Any clues on this one ... thanks, Denis
