This seems like an interesting problem:

given an initial start date and finish, lets say all dates can range from 07:00 to 18:00 in one day.

How could i produce results like:

1/1/2003 07:00 - 07:30 - FREE
1/1/2003 07:30 - 08:00 - RESERVED
1/1/2003 08:00 - 09:45 - RESERVED
1/1/2003 09:45 - 15:00 - FREE
1/1/2003 15:00 - 15:30 - RESERVED
1/1/2003 15:30 - 18:00 - FREE
