Hello Steve

I am not Allan, but I had the same requirement in an application I wrote years ago.

I wanted my customers to be able to enter text to search for in my products database, and I needed to see if they had put in any leading or trailing spaces.

For instance if my customers had entered 'cap' they would find 'cap', 'capasitor' and capstan', but if they had entered 'cap ' they would only find 'cap'. And if they entered 'tan' they would find 'tantal' and 'capstan', if they entered ' tan' they would only find 'tantal' if it was word number more than 1.

Comprende? :-)
