>I have been looking at your WinFax demo. Thank you for uploading it. There seems to be 2 ways to operate WinFax: one using the SetClientID(), which you use, and the other method which does not do this. Am I understanding this correctly?

Another VFP program will have created the SQL Server records, along with a temporary VFP table that will contain the data needed to run a VFP REPORT FROM command. Any thoughts on this?

Chris,
I can't remember exactly why I used SetClientID() but I know the program works really solid. I seem to remember it had somthing to do with the log files but it's been a while since I worked in the guts of the program. I just call it now.

The way you describe your method is exactly the way I would do it. You MUST have VFP and WinFax running on the same PC for it to work. One more thing. Before you can call WinFax from VFP you MUST send a fax from WinFax. Apparently it sets up a few things the 1st time you runit. My guess is registry entries but you can be sure the API calls won't work until you send that 1st fax from the WinFax screen.
