If anyone is willing I'd like to get some feedback on something I'm trying to do, and maybe a few recommendations.

The application I'm working needs to be able to send faxes. Due to the nature of the application I want the fax system to be a client/server system.
The way I have it now is that the client fills out a VFP form with the necessary fax information, including attaching documents & whatnot. This form creates a record in a SQL table.
The server component monitors this table for updates and the does the actual faxing.
I set it up this way so that the fax software would not have to be installed on every client machine. This also allows for me to be able to work with various fax packages by just changing the server piece.

Ok, so enough background. My question is what sort of experience do other have with fax software or hardware from the development aspect? I've primarily been working with Synamtec Winfax 10, but I'm wondering what experience others have with different components. I need to develop a base system for customers who don't currently have a faxing system in place, and I'm curious as to what you guys and gals prefer to work with or what I should steer away from.
