Regardless what Ken says, if there seems to be one point of agreement amongst the people in these various threads, it's that after reading both side by side, version 8's EULA is a dramatic change. Version 7 did not say what Ken contends. Of course, that is not to say that it wasn't previously Microsoft's intention, but if that's the case, it was poorly worded in the past.

Ok, somebody has to ask this. If the previous versions were so clear and there really is no change, why was it rewritten? That can't have been an inexpensive project.
