Thanks for the tip.
I neglected to explain that the AREA field is necessary since I allow for the capability to override the calculation of LENGTH * WIDTH and allow the user to manually enter a value for AREA. They may know the area without the dimensions and thus, I can't always rely on multiplying length and width as you suggested.

>If it isn't too late in the development process, do away with this field (area) as it violates basic rules of Data normalization. You could always pick the area value in the code by mutiplying length and width.
