I'm not sure, Dan, because Ken "wandered" a bit in this stuff.

Unfortunately, I don't have my VS 6.0 box and stuffings any more since I cut the bar code off to get my VFP7 rebate.
But I still have my Office 2000 Developer's Edition box and EULA, and I can tell you with certainty that the clause is NOT there (and remember, I said devewloper's edition) and it does have clauses for developers, including letting me install it on many machine provided that it's for PERSONAL use only plus ONE machine to use the OFFICE product production-wise. And it does have an UPGRADES clause taht "... and/or supplements prior versions...".
Now it is possible that Office XP does have the new clause, but that sure wouldn't make it 'many versions" now would it?
