Is it necessary to RLOCK a buffered table. I'm doing maint on a VFP application that uses RLOCK then issues tableupdate with free tables. Since Tableupdate handles record locking is the RLOCK causing trouble. This app has some serious multiuser issues with Contention and Concurency (Record in use by another and record changed by another). I think the update routine in this app is possibly wrong. Programmer also uses tranactions around single tableupdates for tables in the DBC with no RLOCK.

Any Help apprecitated. I can show source code if it would help the cause.
