I have experienced this in 2.6. It is usually caused by an error that FoxPro really doesn't like. If you have the screen area for it, try making the FoxPro window smaller than the entire viewport, and you will see that the mouse is in fact still there, when you move it outside of the FoxPro window. This error is severe enough that it doesn't go away by simply closing FoxPro and then restarting it. It has been quite a while, so I can't remember if a video driver update helped, but you might want to see if you have the latest patches for FP 2.6. It may have something to do with the speed of the processor as well. I just can't remember exactly what it was. Seems to be the error, though, that is what stands out in my memory.
