80% of the cost of an app is in Maintenance 20%is in development. Always look at your problem from a maintenance standpoint cost less. Which can you debug easier down the road. Which can you understand easier down the road. Which is less error prone as you move the app around or apply changes to the system.
Based on this I would drive word to create the file then save the file. Next I would drive Outlook to E Mail the file. That way both are kept seperate. Actually I would try to find another methodology that contained the least points of failures. I.E. the need to have a new version of office on the machine.
What ben makes tracks for what wil be. Words in the air pirnt foot steps on the groun for us to put our feet in to.
