We've all gone through this - it's definitely a mistake to use a VFP general field to store images.

Instead, you should store the image to a folder location as a file and simply include the path to that file in your table.

When you do it that way, you could place those images on any sort of file server in any location - you can even extend image storage to other drives and devices as the need arises.

I have been storing these images in FoxPro 2.6a in a General field and we have hit the max 2 gig capacity of the General field
