I have a web that has an internal IP address that is different from the public IP address. We do network address translation at the firewall.
The problem is that now I want to access the site using the domain name from inside the building. This requires using the local IP (not public).

I was sure that Windows DNS services allowed setting up domains for internal override of the public numbers but mine's not quite working.

Anyone know how to set DNS to reply with the local IP address for those within our network?
I currently have DNS installed and my ISP’s servers as forwarders.

Thanks,
Chris
