Regarding your post to Yuri: Sometimes I will put a column to the far right that repeats certain numbers that need to be totalled. One idea is to use iif() function over to the right, so it puts the value to total in that cell if a certain condition is met (such as a flag in another column).

Then you can use sum() at the bottom of that column.
