Hi all,
I am using IS Dev 8 and have selected the MS C++ Runtime Library for inclusion. It is ending up in the root directory, which is causing an error on Win2K machines that can't find the needed library. Manually moving it to the Win-NT\System32 folder solves it. Win98 machines don't seem to mind the c:\ location.
Any ideas why this is happening? I have not altered any default destination directory settings for the merge module. IS help cautions against making changes: ""Specifies the destination of the merge module's files. It is recommended you use the default setting “(Use merge module's default destination)”.
Anyone else seen this. Should I mess with the default destination of the merge module?
TIA,
Larry Tucker
