Easy for us outside the US not to appreciate how defensive you guys must feel. I was in San Diego 2 weeks ago, it isn't fun to watch experts on TV telling you how to survive up to 3 days without power, water or food.
But as I said, you have more friends than you know. You are far from alone ;-)
