I may have misspoken. Go to www.microsoft.com/data and install MDAC2.5. By default only later versions of MDAC install with later versions of Access. MDAC2.5 can be installed along side/on top of MDAC 2.6 or 2.7 without problems.

MDAC 2.5 may give you what you need.
