When Refox encrypts the application or executable you are effectively increasing the randomness of the data (measured by its entropy) making it difficult for zip to fulfill its compression model in an effective way. If you are trying to protect and compress a VFP executable then try using Xitech XONxiSE which compresses and encrypts.
