>Just a little joke to lighten the mood :-).

Here are 3 more war-related jokes:

1) During World War II, many Germans considered the Italians (their allies) as being cowardly. [I have no idea about the real situation.] The following joke was a result of this perception. Italy gave an ultimatum to Greece. If they don't surrender, the German's will attack immediately.

2) A friend of mine, who is a jew, told me that the following joke has its origin in the 6-day War. Russian representatives present its new and improved fighting-plain to Egypt. They place special emphasis on how easy it is to handle. "This plane has only three buttons. Press the center button to take off. Press the right button to go to the right. And press the left button to turn to the left." Question: "And how do we land?" Answer: "Don't worry; the Israelis will take care of that."

3) This joke, of course, originated before World War II ended. Göbbels was the "propaganda minister", Göbbels, the minister of the air force. After World War II finishes, Hitler, Göbbels and Göring are taken to the gallows. While they are already hanging, Göring says to Göbbels: "I told you, this war was going to be decided in the air."
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
