We use an in-house system, written in VFP, which I originally developed for attorneys. Benefits are that I can have multiple billing rates per task, can easily track non-billable time, and I can manipulate the data directly. Drawbacks are that *I* have to maintain the code (bg) and the reporting isn't as flexible as I'd like it to be (I end up rolling my own Q&D reports often).
