That's bad. What's worse is companies taking advantage, but I guess it's a hirer's market right now. I mean, IT people sure took advantage when the times were good. As in before and during the dot-com explosion.

I had a friend in San Jose who was paying $1,200 for a one bedroom a few years ago. You would think you should be able to cover that with $50K/yr.
