Reading this thread is almost unbelievable for me (as it must be for Hilmar and other third-worlders). What you're discussing in general about your job market is what happens here ALL the time since many years ago.
I find terribly strange that talented people like Sylvain is not working...
I was talking yesterday with a friend of mine, a really *brilliant* developer in California, that told me how hard is the job market now.
It seems obvious that the economic crisis is extending everywhere around the world. under such state of affairs, it's good to know that one can rely in a great community for support.
As I told my friend, if things goes worst there, I'll start offering jobs to many of you on my own company down here. 8-)
