Its pretty simple...

In the enterprise manager connect to the msde instance
right click on databases
select all tasks > restore database
in the option group, select 'from device'
click 'select device'
click 'add'
insert the path to the mdf file
ok
ok

and it should import the database. I have only done this on a sql server so Im not sure if there are any problems with MSDE.
