Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention - they fire up Word 2000 on the same machine and everything prints everywhere perfectly. I'm going to try your code and see what it parrots back.

My code is:

cPrinterName = GETPRINTER()
SET PRINTER TO NAME (cPrinterName)

I would think that if the GetPrinter() call sees the printer, it could access it, but then again "thinking" is how I get myself into trouble <g>.
