What would be nice is a revision of VFP for Linux. There is a real unfulfilled niche there for an integrated database development environment, including all of GUI fixings that has not been addressed by the all the bits and pieces currently available. Sure, maybe you can cobble something togther using the standard back-end databases....mySQL, PostGRESQL (how do you pronounce that?) and maybe the Java SWING library, or GNOME or KDE widgets...but a as yet....there is no integrated development environments equivalent to VFP (or Access)

At one time, (pre-Microsoft? ) there was a version of FoxPro 2.0 (ish) that ran on Unix.

Remember only You can prevent Gray Goo. Never release nanobot assembers without replication limiting code.
