I need to confirm that in FoxPro 2.6 I CANT use OLE automation to drive the creation of an Excel spreadsheet. I can do it in VFP using CREATEOBJECT('Excel.Application') and then can drive the properties of this object etc, adding a workbook, adding data, formatting cells, saving the file etc. I believe I cannot do this in FP2.6, and will have to use DDE which is a bit clunky, but want to confirm from others if this is really the case.
