Nope, on plain text email, the font for viewing is determined on the receiving end. To gain control of the fonts, you need to use HTML (or RTF) formatting, and AFAIK, you cannot do that with MAPI.

Someone here claimed you can use MAPI to send HTML email if Eudora is the MAPI server, but I could not find any evidence on Eudora's website to suggest that it can be done...
