I had the same problem. see my list of messages: #014949

The thing that seemed to work was disabling IISAdmin during the installation.

I also tried putting the expanded files onto a CD and that didn't work either. At some point it stalled and asked for CD #2...

I also installed from a remote HD.


I hope the IISAdmin trick works...
