I have been using the excellent material in chapter 6 of the 'MegaFox' book and in the 'MS Office Automation with VFP' book to do some graphing and have encountered one small problem that I need help with. I am using VFP7 and Office 97 and am primarily interested in printing the graphs on VFP report forms rather than displaying them on VFP screen forms.

I have one report form that has three graphs side by side on a landscape layout. The control source for each picture control is a General field in a table. Everything on the graphs looks great except for the ChartTitle and the Legend; in both cases the text characters are squeezed together making it difficult to read. I am using a non-proportional font (courier new) and bold is set to .F. which helps some but there is still some overlap in the characters. It appears that this is caused by the resizing of the picture controls on the report form that I had to do to get three graphs side by side but I do not know how to correct it.

I have found that I can correct the problem if on the report form controls, I change from the 'Scale picture, fill the frame' option to the 'Scale picture, retain shape' option. But then, each of the three graphs have a different size, the ChartTitles are sized differently, etc. which looks bad.

I would appreciate hearing from those who have run into this issue and have been able to resolve it.

Thanks very much,
Stan
