Nowadays, I understand, this is illegal, and I think it should also be illegal to reject a client based on a political (?) opinion, even if this is expressed quite openly.
Just shows you that both sides have idiots, as well as good and bad arguments. What I find so offensive about this is not only the infringement of free speech, but even more so that a store in that mall sold them the shirts in the first place. Now if they had bee raising hell in the mall instead of just walking around buying t-shirts, then the mall has grounds to evict them from the premises. No way would I have ever submitted to their demands. It would have taken a real, on-duty police officer to remove me from the premises in that situation. Shortly thereafter, you can bet a high-powered lawyer would have been summoned.
