Yes, I can manually copy and delete the folder. Renaming Folder4 to Folder3, and then running the code causes the invalid handle error, again at newly renamed Folder3.

Is there something about calling the shell file copy iteratively that runs me out of handles? Does the OS reserve some kind of name space that doesn't get released? In this instance, I delete all the folder with the same code, by passing the Delete param. Use MD to create the new folders, programatically create tables, CDX's and views in each folder, copy in data, and then (where we are bombing) copy the folders to another location, which in production will be up to a file server.

I am not really even sure what the error means. It is reminiscent of not having enough File Control Blocks in DOS; which I havn't worried about since Win98. ???
