i am using asp with a foxpro backend and everything is rosey excpt for one thing. i am using vb script which cannot change but i have a string that i 6 chars long and i need to get the first 3 and then the second 3 and perform a few checks on them. how do i substr in asp with vbscript? i know that it can be done in javascript but not a clue as to vbscript
