People also need to read de Villier's actual UN speech (which caused the chamber to errupt in applause, a very rare event) as well as his 3 March statement with Ivanov and Fischer.

Not everybody will agree with Mr Wills that Mr de Villiers is a disingenuous, nasty little foreigner who doesn't make sense.

As for Saddam wishing he had nuclear weapons: every despot who loses wishes he had a doomsday weapon.
