I don't disagree with this (far from it). However, I have to give President Bush credit in that he pulled out of the Kyoto Accord because our Senate voted it down 95-0. He was representing congress, right or wrong. Our congress also overwhelming gave President Bush support for war with Iraq months ago (why at that time? I don't know). Now some congressmen are changing their minds given the peace protests (see they do work). My only issue with this is that those congressmen should have done more research before voting YES. Given this history, and given the UN's history of voting not on principle but on economic gifts and $ for their votes, it is a sad state of affairs. Too many decisions and votes are made for the wrong reasons.
