>>Never get comfortable. If you do you will become complacent and obsolete. If you want to have marketable skills you have to have what someone wants to pay for. Stay awake and be light on your feet. Be ready for anything and accept what the world gives you with a smile and positive attitude. Life is a challenge and if you want to enjoy it you adapt.

Alex;
A friend of mine graduated from college with a degree in Computer Science (SQA) in 1995. The guest speaker was the president of Auto Desk (AutoCad), and he has a Phd. He stated he had had 17 jobs in his working career, 9 of which no longer exist. His suggestion was to always stay in higher education and be aware of changes in technology. I could not agree more!
Just think - about 50 years ago there were no McDonalds chains to be found. Even fast food outlets change - bigger and better grease. :)
