Note I am not familiar with the toxicology of napalm so what I am about to say is bit of a generalization. In a large enough exposure, a herbicide could be toxic to humans, however that is not its purpose. In large enough doses almost anything can kill or seriously harm humans. Other chemical agents like pesticides are however developed to be fatal or harmful to humans in "normal" doses. I do, however, defer to your prior experiences that you have posted here with great respect and admiration. Tom W's as well. FWIW, I certainly regret our govt's decision to use napalm to destroy vast areas of vegetation during that war.
