Read Re: Magic Increasing Memo fields Thread #630993 Message #631008 for an explanation of why the memo file bloats. Sorry, I don't know why your other memos are missing-in-action, but searching the memos won't find the deleted ones, since there is no longer a record that is pointing to the pre-revision memo data.
