>That's because OBL was there with his chums at the Taliban. (or Taliban-banana, as the song went). North Korea, has nukes and they said they'll used them. Yet they have no oil. Are we there ready to invade and do a regime change?

North Korea is an entirely different situation. For starters, they already have nukes. And a 1.2 million person army not far from about 37,000 U.S. troops. Those 2 facts alone make dealing with North Korea very, very different.

Beside that is the fact that North Korea has not shown the pattern of behavior that Saddam has. To the best of my knowledge, they have not invaded 2 of their neighbors, used gas on one of them, nor have they gassed their own citizens. Maybe they have, but I haven't read about it.

Finally, U.N. Resolution 1441, passed 15-0 by the Security Council, doesn't deal with North Korea.

>This is about oil. Mark my words, after this is all over, and Saddam is gone, new oil contracts will be negotiated.

>One of the first, and biggest, oil contracts will go to Halliburton (ex-Cheney's place of business). Want to bet? {g}

Yes, I will take that bet :-).
