Mark...

I am glad that your productivity is DOWN. That must mean you are having fun. Just wait for the next version so your "wasted hours of drawing" in the morning can be saved and restored (after lunch) for an afternoon of (additional) wasted time! My lawyers are standing by to handle all lawsuits concerning employees fired for EEAST (Excessive Etch A Sketch Time).

Please allow me to elaborate on the "Rounded" corners. Stop me when the information overload takes over. The "Rounded"/"Square" corners is only for drawing lines. It does NOT allow the EtchASketcher to solve the age old problem of drawing curves or circles. Hell, if I wanted to draw circles, I would fire up MS Paint. The effect of the shape of the corners is best demonstrated by changing the width of the line to NINE and just start drawing. With "Square" corners, the pixels are filled in making nice, anal retentive, precise corners. The "Rounded" corners are just another "look". Additionally, behind the scenes the application is constantly making "corrections" (pixel by pixel) so that the lines are being drawn "properly". You will notice this (but probably not appreciate it) as you continue to use the application. The symmetry and precision in drawing designs is quite high. Try drawing a line vertically, then make a right turn (with just ONE click of the key) and then turn the line back parallel to the orginal line. OK, maybe not quite as precise as Legos, but kind of neat, nevertheless.
