I don't know how's your form(s) is/are built but I may suggest you:
Split your form (in case there's only one) in several forms which will contain the desired action (POST, JS custom validation function or whatever) for each button. If you want to show your code I'll be glad to take a look on Monday (yep.. weekends are sacred too :)) My e-mail is in the forum ID.
