That is because, as anal retentive as it may sound, there is an underlying philosophy in the design. I am serving two masters if you will. First, there is the desire to "recreate" the original toy with all of its "shortcomings" (were there instructions with it? I think not.) and, at the same time, take advantage of FoxPro's (and a computer's) additional functionality. The bottom line is to just have fun with it (that is if you discount the blatant plug for the Essential Fox Conference 2003).

It may be blatant but it is at least selectable at the user's discretion. I think it is a clever marketing idea.
