Does anyone know of a good tutorial or FAQ on the use of the Grid control that I can access?

As an example, I am looking for pointers on how to determine the relative row position of the active row in a grid. According to the help file, ActiveRow() returns 0 if you access a row outside of visible grid. How would I get the physical active row to become visible if this is the case.

Since I have a lot of questions on this subject, that is why I wish to find a tutorial or FAQ.
