I've done this before. There are devices you can get that will passthough a phone converstation though a soundcard on a computer....something like
http://store.yahoo.com/ahernstore/phonebridge.htmlOne thing you will want to keep in mind though - when I first did this I was using WAV files, but each converstaion I was saving was average of 18 minutes, and we were recording up to 200 phone calls at a time. I STRONGLY suggest you don't record to WAV format, but some other format supported by the Windows Media Encoder. I think it was .asx that I finally ended up using. File sizes changed from 30mb each to about 1.2 mb each...maybe not an issue for you but we were recording several thousand of these every day.
>I need to develop a simple program for data input for a rep talking on the phone with a customer. VFP of course. HOWEVER, I want to record the conversation and store the WAV file with the customer data record (in memo file).
