This is good idea to unite a developers, but what can unite them better is to propose more projects for VFP.
Let's say (Utopia), if in your city there are some big project - you may start to find a subdevelopers for VFP and this will unite them very good. :-)

I don't exactly understood what is your exact idea: to develop software for customers or to sell a licensed software of the Microsoft.

If first, then you have to forget about any language preferences: In Piter customer usually know what developer's tool he want see at his solution. And VFP is not a most popular tool.

If second :-)...
It's easier to see a dinosaurs at Nevsky prospect, then to find a programmer with licensed software. This is not Windows or Office - you have to be very convincing to sell something.
