Well, it's not going to give you line numbers or anything like that, but once you know which library contains whatever you're looking for, you can open the library in vfp as a table - (USE mylibrary.vcx). Then you can search the fields using standard vfp commands. Other than that, I'm not sure how you would more specifically zero in on what you're looking for without writing your own routine. Although, since the vcx is just another table, it should be simple.
