What I have done the last serveral years is the following:
I wrote a simple program that gets the list of files (the vcx, and scx) within a directory. Then pass the list one by one to scctext.prg which will create a file with the same filename and a special extention (I use sct, vct). Then I use grep to find what ever I'm looking for or use the standard windows grep. Hope this helps.
